Winter’s stigmas are all over the landscape, and yet nature is readying for Spring… The fields are still waterlogged, but crocuses are as bright as snow on the edge of dark woods. Snapshots taken on the North Downs Way (E2) from Eastwell Park to Dunn Street and back, and on to Wye and the Crown. Lens: Nikkor Af-S 18-55mm (no filter).

Paris: Biking to the Arc de Triomphe
Reblogged from People, Places and Bling!:
By Theadora Brack
Celebrating the new bike lanes on the right bank in Paris, let's take a sentimental journey! Pop open a Coke, crank up Claude Debussy’s “Petite Suite,” and prepare for some bumpy late 19th century time travel along avenue Foch. This centuries-old promenading stretch is my favorite spot for gazing up at the Arc de Triomphe…
Best great city for biking!
